On entering St Andrews, go straight over 2 roundabouts onto North Street. Continue down North Street towards the Cathedral Ruins, the hotel is located on the right hand side.
The nearest international airports to St Andrews are Edinburgh (55 miles), and Glasgow (95 miles). Airports at Glasgow and Edinburgh offer plenty of connections both nationally and internationally. Car hire is available from major firms at the airports and in the city centres.
The nearest railway station is Leuchars (5 miles) on the main line from London (King's Cross) - Edinburgh - Aberdeen. St Andrews may be reached by taxi or by service bus from Leuchars (2 to 3 buses per hour between 9am and 6pm and less frequently at other times). Travel by late overnight sleeper is convenient if met by car or taxi. A taxi from Leuchars railway station to St Andrews is approximately £12.00.

Cross the Forth Road Bridge and proceed north along M90 to junction 2A. Follow the A92 until just before Cupar, then join the A91 to St Andrews. Alternatively, take M90 to junction 8, then A91 to St Andrews.
Either go east along M8 all the way to Forth Road Bridge and then follow directions from Edinburgh, or by M8 onto M80 then A876 to Kincardine Bridge and A977 towards Kinross, joining M90 at junction 6 and exiting at junction 8, then by A91 to St Andrews.
Leave Perth on M90 then by A913 to Cupar and St Andrews.
Cross the Tay Road Bridge on A92 and after 1 mile via A919 to Leuchars and A91 to St Andrews.
To reach the hotel once you enter St Andrews on the A91, go straight on at the 2 small roundabouts, and carry on up North Street towards the cathedral ruins. The Hotel is approximately 150 yards on the right.
Free parking is available on North Street from St Salvators' to the Cathedral and also directly outside the Hotel.
Please note that parking in many other parts of St Andrews is extremely limited and you will need to purchase parking tickets from the road-side machines in order to avoid a fine from the local traffic wardens. These parking restrictions are enforced from 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday but parking is free thereafter.
The local bus/coach provider is Stagecoach. Local buses run fairly frequently between St Andrews and Edinburgh, Dundee, and Leuchars (the nearest railway station).
